Most of the photographs in this section were obtained from a
DOCTOR WHO fan site:
I will describe this site in greater detail on page 3, or 4 or 5. ?
This page is supposed to include a song, which is the
DOCTOR WHO THEME SONG. This is the song as it was
heard on the Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker shows.
The song was obtained from a site called:
In the left-hand column CATEGORIES, click on the words
"MOVIES/TV." This should take you to:
Click on "MOVIES/TV A-D"
_M_O_V_I_E_S_ (_A_N_D_) _T_V_ (_F_R_O_M_) _A_ (_T_O_) _D_
and keep clicking the arrows until you get to page 35. This
should take you to:
Click on the musical note on the left where it says
"DOCTOR WHO THEME MUSIC."
"_D_O_C_T_O_R_ _W_H_O_ _T_H_E_M_E_ _M_U_S_I_C_"
Click on "DOWNLOAD LINK" in the pop-up box.
Unfortunately, once you have downloaded an audio clip, it can
be very hard to find. My computer tends to "hide" its sound
files, sometimes in "My Music," sometimes in the "Dell Jukebox
by MusicMatch," and sometimes in "Windows Media Player."
I have not yet figured out how to efficiently use this garbled
system of a media menagerie. But SOMEHOW, I managed to
get the song on to the web page.
Be advised that there is also another Doctor Who song offered,
called "Doctor Who Song (Dance)."
"_D_O_C_T_O_R_ _W_H_O_ _S_O_N_G_ (_D_A_N_C_E_)"
This is based on the well-known sports song
"Rock and Roll, part 2" by Gary Glitter,
"_R_O_C_K_ _A_N_D_ _R_O_L_L_ _P_A_R_T_ _2_" _B_Y_ _G_A_R_Y_ _G_L_I_T_T_E_R_
also known as "The HEY Song". (Cheerleaders call it
"_T_H_E_ _H_E_Y_ _S_O_N_G_" because of the repeated yell "_H_E_Y_."
This song was heard on The Making of Doctor Who special
which centered around the show "Silver Nemesis."
You'll notice that, on this web site, I claim "copyright" on things I write. This is not meant to scare anyone.
Feel free to copy and distribute anything you want, just as long you
GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE.
I want to get the proper credit for whatever I write, and I want everyone else to get credit for what THEY write.
COPYRIGHT is a very complicated legal issue, for which I would need legal representation beyond
what I can afford at the moment, in order to fully understand it or fully explain it. In any case, a copyright
notice such as this is just a standard "boiler plate" thing you are supposed to attach to whatever you write. It
is not meant to stop ordinary people from using my work in ordinary ways, but just in case somebody thinks
they can make a million dollars off of something I wrote, without cutting ME in for "A Piece of the Action."
Everything on this web site is COPYRIGHT (c) ERIC HAUBERT
