HERE ARE ALL OF MY OLD TWITTER POSTS, ("old Tweets"),
GOING BACK TO THE FIRST ONE

@KeithOlbermann,

On day 1,Navy could have dropped bombs on well,
closed the opening & saved the ocean.
Very simple,but politically impossible.

@KeithOlbermann,

Socialist Leftist Dems want to SAVE
Confederate Libertarian Republican coastline.
Governors not begging for Fed takeover.

@KeithOlbermann,

BP never wanted to STOP the gusher in the Gulf.
All they want to do is TAP it.
They are totally without a conscience.

Between Nevada and Kentucky:
Will the Republican Party die the death of a thousand CLUCKS,
or a thousand KLUX?

@KeithOlbermann,

Actually, "SHAT My Dad Says" is the perfect title.
Shatner was given the unflattering nickname "Shat" a long time ago.

If I write here "as a blog,"
then of course the comments should be read upside down,
from bottom to top.

As far as I know, there is no rule here against "blogging,"
or against the sort of content that would look like a blog.

3:33 AM May 3, 2010

I was previously writing about the Star Trek movie.
Someone complained that I was using Twitter "improperly,"
as if it were a blog.

@KeithOlbermann,

Jay Leno blames White House.
I would assume that Fox News is choosing
the noisiest moments possible to file their reports.

3:28 AM May 3, 2010

@KeithOlbermann,

I don't know how to send messages,
unless this is the right way to do it.

How can a true fan of The Original Series
appreciate a NEW Star Trek
which basically dumps the original into the rubbish bin?

6:12 PM May 18th, 2009

I assume that more movies will be made.
How will they explain this "parallel universe?"

6:10 PM May 18th, 2009

We don't see Spock's mother in "Journey to Babel,"
or the planet Vulcan in "Amok Time,"
because they had already been destroyed.

6:09 PM May 18th, 2009

The basic premise of the new Star Trek
is that the original Star Trek "never happened."
This is a "parallel universe."

6:07 PM May 18th, 2009

How would it make any sense to change the situation so radically?

6:06 PM May 18th, 2009

Suppose a movie version of "Father Knows Best"
showed Mrs. Anderson dying in the Korean War,
while the Korean peninsula is annexed to China.

6:04 PM May 18th, 2009

I would suggest a comparison.
Jane Wyatt played Spock's mother in the original,
and she was also Margaret Anderson in "Father Knows Best."

6:01 PM May 18th, 2009

Leonard Nimoy was very good.
And the NEW Spock was ALSO very good.
Of course, he had Nimoy on the set to advise him how to play the role.

6:00 PM May 18th, 2009

Before watching it,
I thought I would be put off by seeing different actors in the roles,
but this was the least of my problems with it.

5:58 PM May 18th, 2009

Those who are NOT Star Trek fans,
or who are not well-acquainted with the original series,
might like this movie very much.

5:56 PM May 18th, 2009

I wouldn't tell people not to watch the movie.
Dedicated Star Trek fans HAVE TO see it, but might not like it.

5:55 PM May 18th, 2009

This is totally non-canonical. It appears to be a "parallel universe,"
in which the back-story is much different from the "real" Star Trek.

5:48 PM May 12th, 2009

I was prepared for the movie to be really bad,
but I was still disappointed that it was so bad.

5:28 PM May 12th, 2009 via web

I just watched the new Star Trek movie.
It turned out to be every bit as bad as I expected it to be.
